Q? Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions?

I don't like texture in general
Q? What is your reaction/response to foods you dislike?

only if I've had a really bad experience with the food before (like with chocolate chip cookies or peanut butter)
Q? Are there any foods you cannot eat raw but can eat cooked?
no
Q? Are there any foods that you have never eaten but 'know' that you would not like?
yes
Q? What is your reaction to the 'thought' of eating foods that you have never eaten and 'know' you would not like?
No real physical response, but I don't think about it much. Trying food I know I won't like isn't worth it.

I am Emma and I am 14 years old

Q1. I think it started gradually. I learned to like new foods as a grew older but I also stop eating foods I used to like.
Q2. I don't think I have ever had any trauma that make me this way. I don't know.
Q3. I have 2 older sisters, one who eats anything and the other is a little picky, but not at all like me.
Q4. I have some ear problem but it does not effect anything.
Q5. I don't have any other phobia or OCD that I am aware of.
Q6. I had never really thought about it until now but yes, I am very scared of meeting new people.
Q7. I think my picky eating has gotten worse. I slowly drop foods from my repertoire.
Q8. My problem in normally texture, I like really crunchy (chips) or really soft (ice cream and mashed potatoes) but I hate the in between (baked potatoes)
Q9. I gag, if it is meat I throw up. It is embarrassing. Just thinking about it doesn't make me react.
Q10. I can't eat uncooked pepperoni I can eat it if it is well cooked and crisp on pizza.
Q11. I haven't tried a lot of meat but I refuse because the kinds I have made me throw up.
Q12. All I can say about my reaction to foods I have not tried is that I am absolutely positive I would not like it, the smell and the look makes me feel as if I have already tried it.

I hope this is what you were looking for.

Q? Have you always been a picky eater or did it start at certain age?
Yes, I think that I have always been a fussy eater.

Q? Did your picky eating start with an illness, specific event or trip to hospital?
My mum said that I've always been very OCD with my food. However, my mum also said that the reason I may have developed picky eating is due choking on grapes when I was 2. I apparently packed my mouth full of grapes and then I started choking. My Grandmother had to tip me upside down to try and get them out my mouth so I could breathe.

Q? Do you have any siblings?
Yes.

Q? If you have siblings are they all older than you, all younger than you, or are you somewhere in the middle?
I have one little brother. He is 5 years younger than me.

Q? If you have siblings are any of them picky eaters?
Yes, he is exactly like me. My mum believes that his issues are due to copying me.

Q? Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions?
Nope.

Q? Do you have any other fears or phobias?
Not really, but I guess I have food neophobia. I also hate spiders?

Q? Do you have a dislike/fear/phobia of new people/places/things/experiences?
No, I'm confident. But, I must admit I hate change.

Q? Overtime, has your picky eating got worse, better or stayed the same?
I suppose it got worse between the ages of 2 and 10. Since the age of ten I've been the same. But, I can now add to my dislike list- ice cream. I haven't improved with my eating ever.

Q? Do you like/dislike foods of a certain colour/texture?

I hate anything with colour and taste. That is my honest opinion. I stick to pale colour foods like bread, chips, plain chicken and plain noodles.

Q? What is your reaction/response to foods you dislike?
I just don't eat or look at them. I try not to smell them either or I sometimes gag.

Q? Does just the mere 'thought' of eating foods you dislike trigger this reaction/response?
I don't feel anything.

Q? Are there any foods you cannot eat raw but can eat cooked?
i don't really understand this question. Everything I eat is cooked.

Q? Are there any foods that you have never eaten but 'know' that you would not like?
every food that I don't like such as: pizza, pasta, fish, lamb, cheese, cheese cake... the list could go on...

Q? What is your reaction to the 'thought' of eating foods that you have never eaten and 'know' you would not like?
I'd probably cry- luckily I haven't really been face-to-face with these food or the thoughts.

Hope I've helped :)
